Nairobi wedding florist · Since 2008
Bridal bouquets, bridesmaid flowers, boutonnieres, ceremony arches and reception centrepieces, designed around your colours and venue by our florists on Biashara Street.
Your wedding flowers appear in almost every photo you will keep: the bouquet in your hands, the flowers along the aisle, the arch you stand under, and the tables your guests sit at. Getting them right takes planning, not just pretty stems. Since 2008, our florists at Nectar Flower Shop Nairobi have designed wedding flowers for church ceremonies, garden weddings, hotel receptions and intimate family celebrations across Nairobi.
This guide walks you through what we offer, how to plan your wedding flowers, what they cost, and the questions to ask any florist before you book. When you are ready, send us your date and ideas on WhatsApp or call 0724 906221 to book a consultation.
Want us to handle more than the flowers? We also offer full event planning and styling, and our event flowers and décor service covers engagements, bridal showers and pre-wedding events.

Planning something smaller or at short notice? Talk to us anyway. Intimate weddings and civil ceremonies often need only a bridal bouquet, a few boutonnieres and some table flowers, which we can arrange much faster.
Kenya grows some of the finest roses in the world, which makes roses the heart of most Nairobi weddings. They are available all year and come in every shade, from classic white and blush to deep burgundy. Around them we build designs with spray roses, baby’s breath, lilies, chrysanthemums, carnations, eucalyptus and other greenery. Imported specialty blooms can be requested for an extra cost and with more notice.
Colour palettes we are often asked for:
Your bouquet should suit your dress, your height and the feel of the day. The most popular styles we make:
As a rule, the fuller and more detailed the dress, the simpler the bouquet can be, and the other way round. Bring a photo of your dress to the consultation and we will suggest the right size and shape.
Many Nairobi couples celebrate more than one ceremony, such as a traditional ceremony or ruracio followed by a church or garden wedding. Each has its own look. For traditional events we often design flowers to match fabrics and outfits, with bold colours, table arrangements for the families, and bouquets or corsages for key family members. Tell us about each event and we can plan flowers across all of them so the whole celebration feels connected.
Every venue calls for a slightly different approach. Churches often have rules about where flowers can be placed and when setup can start. Garden venues in Karen and Runda need designs that hold up in the sun and a breeze. Hotel ballrooms around Upper Hill and Westlands usually have fixed access windows for setup. Tell us your venue at the consultation and we will plan the designs and timing around it.
Wedding flowers are quoted to your needs, since the final price depends on your guest numbers, venue, flowers and colours. As a guide:
| Item | Guide price (KES) |
|---|---|
| Bridal bouquets | From about 2,500, with most between 2,500 and 6,500 in our shop |
| Bridesmaid bouquets | Quoted with the bridal bouquet |
| Boutonnieres and corsages | Quoted per piece |
| Ceremony and reception flowers | Quoted after consultation |
| Full wedding packages | Quoted after consultation |
Share your budget early. We will suggest where to spend for the biggest impact, such as focusing on the bridal bouquet and head table and keeping guest tables simple.
Nairobi weddings often run from morning to late evening, so flowers need to last. We prepare wedding flowers close to the day, keep bouquets hydrated until delivery and deliver bridal flowers to where you are getting ready. Keep the bouquet in water and out of direct sun between the ceremony and photos, and hand it to a bridesmaid when you are not holding it. For outdoor venues, we choose sturdy stems and designs that hold up in the sun.
You are welcome to visit our shop on Biashara Street, open 8am to 7pm, to see and feel the flowers before you decide.
Use this list to count everything you need before the consultation, so your quote is accurate from the start:
Flowers can carry on the celebration. Many couples order anniversary flowers every year, and gift hampers make lovely thank-you gifts for parents and the bridal party.
